COVID and Shielding

So Lockdown came as predicted and I had to head home from Wales to shield due to immune system issues.  I was so upset as had started a training programme with Netflix two weeks before to become a production accountant. The rest of the team continued the training for a week but whilst I tried to keep up online, due to poor internet at home it became impossible.  I also realised on the day of lockdown that as my company is sports and leisure servicing that we effectively now could not trade.  It was a strange time: one day having a successful company and a guaranteed job to having a non viable company and no job literally overnight.  But I kept running, in fact the only thing that got me through the next few weeks and months was running I realise when I look back.
