Back running after a few days off…

2nd - 7th May

So back out running - with a damaged IT band isn’t the best but decided to run through it. 

So no matter how much you may know the theory and read up on it to know more, applying it to yourself is hard. Sometimes it does pay to listen to the coach (yes it’s taken nearly 40 years to practice what i preach!!) New PB when I’m finding life a little like moving through peanut butter is really what I needed today Cheers Robin David Atkins. Now if I can just stop spacing out at various points it might be even better but I’ll have to wait and see on that one!! (Believe me it’s not impressive and I have a long way to go so no celebrations yet - I’ll leave the cheering and clapping for the NHS tonight and VE Day tomorrow but Im happy!!). 5K in under 10 mins - it nearly killed me but felt so good after! Still at this point only running up and down my road due to shielding.
